Bridging heritage with a new beginning for the Amista Hotel
Honoring the legacy of Hôtel Maison St Louis while embracing a new chapter in its story, Bonjour Paris was responsible for crafting a complete brand identity for this “new” hotel in Marseille’s Noailles district. The goal was to reflect the spirit of the neighborhood and express the uniqueness of the hotel through naming, logo design, and visual identity.
The new name, Amista, comes from the Latin amicitia meaning “friendship” in Provençal, inviting guests to experience the conviviality and warmth that defines Marseille and Provence. This spirit carries through to the visual identity, developed in harmony with the interior design aesthetic designed for the hotel by Dorothée Delaye. The result is a comprehensive brand identity that honors the hotel’s heritage as well as that of the neighborhood it belongs to.
